Skincare Shouldn’t Require a Leap of Faith
By 35, most of us have tried enough products to fill a bathroom cabinet twice over — and still found ourselves unsure which ones actually did anything. Serums promising “visible results in 7 days.” Devices with no explanation of how they work. Marketing language dressed up to sound clinical, when it isn’t.
ChicGlowDaily exists because we got tired of that gap between what’s promised and what’s proven.
Who We Are
We’re a small team of clinical skincare researchers and licensed beauty professionals who came together around one shared frustration: the anti-aging industry sells confidence, but rarely sells clarity.
Our backgrounds are in dermatological research, esthetics, and product formulation. What we have in common is a low tolerance for hype and a genuine interest in the biology of aging skin — how collagen production slows, how cell turnover changes, how the right active ingredient at the right concentration can outperform ten mediocre ones.
What We Actually Do
Every piece we publish starts with the same question: what does the evidence say?
That means:
- Reading the clinical trials behind an ingredient or device before recommending it — not just the brand’s marketing page
- Explaining why something works at a cellular level — cell renewal, fibroblast activity, microcurrent stimulation — in language that respects your intelligence without requiring a biology degree
- Being direct about what’s overhyped, what’s genuinely effective, and what depends on your specific skin
- Updating our recommendations as new research emerges, rather than treating any single “holy grail” product as permanent
We’re not interested in being the loudest voice in the room. We’re interested in being the one you can actually trust.
Who We’re Here For
ChicGlowDaily is built for women 35 and older who are done guessing. You’ve likely already noticed the shifts — in firmness, in texture, in how your skin responds to products that used to work fine. You don’t need to be talked into caring about aging skin. You need someone to cut through the noise and tell you, plainly, what’s worth your time, your money, and your daily five minutes.
That’s what we’re here to do.
Our Standard
If we can’t point to real evidence — a clinical study, a mechanism that holds up to scrutiny, an honest cost-benefit case — we don’t publish it as fact. Where the science is still developing, we say so. Where a product underdelivers relative to its price, we say that too.
Aging is not a problem to be ashamed of. It’s a process worth understanding — and worth navigating with information you can actually rely on.
